The Edman B-868 digital breathalyser is a small device that fits in any pocket. It comes with a keyring so it is always to hand.

A digital device that measures and displays your blood alcohol level from a breath sample. It is for personal use and gives a fast, accurate reading anywhere, anytime, in under 20 seconds: once switched on, it takes 10 seconds to be ready and up to 5 seconds to display the result. It uses advanced breath alcohol detection technology and provides an accurate estimate of your blood alcohol content.

The breath sample enters the device when you blow into a mouthpiece. The pack contains 4 interchangeable mouthpieces so it can be used hygienically by several people. If the breath sample is valid, the device beeps and within seconds the display shows the level of intoxication of the person tested, as follows:

• high (the device displays "danger"): > 0.05 % BAC
• medium (the device displays "caution"): 0.02 - 0.05 % BAC
• low: < 0.02% BAC.

The device is switched on by pressing the ON button and switches off automatically after use.
